You are exactly where you are supposed to be

Yes, I mean it, you are exactly where you are supposed to be. And by the end of our work together, you will still be where you are supposed to be, only that place will feel safer and more aligned with your own personal values and desires. In that space that you will create, there will be less shame and inner conflict, deeper connections with the people around you, and a sense of trust in yourself.

But maybe something holds you back. Maybe you’ve seen therapy on TV and it seems like a mystery that involves laying on a stranger’s couch and crying; that I’ll sit across from you and mutter “I see” and “how does that make you feel?”

That’s not what’s going to happen. You know why you’re here. I know how to help you. It’s that simple. We may talk about the big things you thought you weren’t ready to talk about; we may talk about the lady who cut you off in traffic today. In session, you are guiding the conversation.

Whether you are here for the “Stepping into myself” sessions or the “Meeting myself anew” sessions, you will sit in a safe, warm, and confidential therapeutic space. My personal focus will always be your own unique experience of the ongoing issue, not how fancy textbooks may choose to label and define it.
